For a fun and productive, healing experience I highly recommend Proactive Physical Therapy in Estacada. Throughout my recovery from both of my knee surgeries, I had the pleasure of working with each team member at different times. They always treated me with respect (we also laughed a lot), but most importantly they motivated me to do the work that needed to be done so I could get back to walking pain free. Thanks to PTs Josh, Laurie, and Dolly, plus support staff Kelly and Sammy - you're the best!!

I’m walking, bending, rolling over in bed again! Laurie is the best PTA & Kelly is awesome. I’ve only dealt with Josh the PT twice and he’s hurt me both times but when it comes to evaluations he kind of needs to move the body in different ways to see what hurts so it’s not entirely his fault 😆. He is very nice so I’d have to say he’s great too. But don’t go to PT expecting it won’t hurt. It WILL hurt but if you learn to move correctly and repair the damage you will be better off in the long run. PT is not for wimps or people who are afraid of hard work.

The facility is small but equipped well enough for the town’s needs. I love that they are close and Laurie listens to me. Often as a woman pain is dismissed in the medical community more often than it is accepted.

Bottom line is if you have a choice I recommend choosing ProActive in Estacada because the staff is great & the personal approach is nice. Oh they even have an app to help remember exercises. Downside with that is you can only check them off once a day so if you have to do them multiple times a day you have to scroll through manually.

Josh did a wonderful job of getting back in shape after my clavicle surgery. Very knowledgeable and patient. Thank you Josh and team!

Over the years in Estacada, we have had the honor of having Brian as our town PT. While he was here, I had 3 back surgeries, a broken arm, painful feet and a bad wrist. He was able to help me recover each time with conventional and unconventional treatment. Way better than any other PT I have been to. His humor, and kindness made all of us feel more comfortable receiving the care we needed. I am happy for him that he got to move on but it is a great loss to Estacada. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

The place is amazing and the employees are amazing also I would recommend this place to everyone.

First experience with physical therapy, necessary after I injured my knee to the extent I could barely walk or bend my knee. I thought sure I would need surgery. After a couple of months working with Josh, Laurie, and Dolly I experienced a full recovery. Kelly and Sam it was always a pleasure to see you, too.

Josh Hansen and the girls do a fantastic job, I've been going there to fix my old broken body for 3 different injuries and now my wife is seeing them!

I can’t express how grateful I am for the staff at ProActive. My recovery from TKR and regaining of my range of motion was quick. I never felt like I was just another patient. I felt like this was a part of my family who gave me 100% support and care. TKR is not an easy recovery but they helped me cope tremendously. I highly recommend using them.

This is an excellent clinic with amazing staff. When I first came in, I was limping and used crutches off and on throughout the day because of constant foot pain. When I discharged, I could jump and run short distances. I would 100% recommend this clinic!

Josh is top notch in his field as so are his friendly staff, Laurie, Dolly, Kelly and Samie. you will get the most out of your treatment if you do your exercises that are prescribed to you at home. I can't say thanks enough for a job well done!

Josh and his staff are personable and care about you getting back on your feet. I pulled some muscles in my lower back in September. When I first went in, walking was a chore and sitting down even more difficult. Josh listened and taught me valuable exercises to get my back moving the way it should. Being in construction and a father of two teenagers a healthy back is essential. By the end of October I was pain free and back to my normal activities. The team at ProActive is there for you and care about your successful recovery.

I am so very grateful for Josh & Dolly at ProActive PT in Estacada. I came to see them after a bad fall, broken arm, wrist & surgery. I couldn't do anything with that arm or hand. Within a few months Josh & Dolly have completely restored my ability to use my arm & hand. They were always so knowledgeable & caring. Josh is a very good communicator, & explained so well what, why and how I needed to do my part at home. It is a very friendly, welcoming & caring place. I have experienced neck pain for many years. After many other attempts by physical therapy to correct it, I gave up. I reinjured the area that is a problem and had a referral for physical therapy. I contacted the referral and was told 3 months out before I could be seen. My wife had a good experience at Proactive so I called and I was seen within a week. All staff are amazing and know their jobs well. I was treated mainly by Josh who used some amazing techniques and was able to get my neck back to normal. I'm a 100% completely satisfied patient.
