    Joan Anderson, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist and the Battle Ground Clinic Director.

    A Colorado native, Joan earned her undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 2000 and both her Masters and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees at Regis University in Denver, Colorado in 2002 and 2003, respectively. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and her clinic specialties include orthopedics, manual therapy, women’s health, and pediatrics.

    In her free time, Joan enjoys water skiing, swimming, hiking, and reading.

    Katie Bradley, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist in Battle Ground.

    Katie earned her undergraduate degree at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington, followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in Bismarck, North Dakota. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, with a special interest in the orthopedic and geriatric populations, enjoying general orthopedics, manual therapy, exercise with focus toward functional activities including work or sports, balance, and vestibular based disorders.

    Katie grew up in Carson, Washington. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and horseback riding, as well as traveling and spending time with family and friends.

    Melissa RamirezPT, DPT

    Melissa Ramirez, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist in Battle Ground.

    Melissa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Oncology Section of the APTA.

    She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic issues. Her areas of interest include manual therapy, chronic pain, strength and balance training, and oncology.

    Outside the clinic, Melissa enjoys skiing, hiking, and sampling craft beers with her wife and friends.

    Chantell RichmondPTA

    Chantell earned her undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University Idaho in exercise science and went on to earn her degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from PIMA Medical Institute in Seattle in October 2017.

    Her areas of treatment interest include rehabilitation from sports injuries, manual therapies, soft tissue/joint mobilization, therapeutic exercise and patient education.

    Chantell enjoys playing sports, being outdoors whether camping or hiking, and travelling to new places in her spare time. Chantell played softball and volleyball throughout high school and college but now loves a good game of racquetball or just tossing the football around. Chantell speaks fluent Norwegian as her mother is native to Norway and has been fortunate to travel to Norway 3 times in her life so far. Chantell is newly married to Bill and they are looking forward to all the adventures to come.

    Ellie PetriPT, LMP, RYT

    Ellie Petri, PT, LMP, RYT, is a physical therapist in Battle Ground.

    Ellie has specialized in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy for 18 years, graduating from the University of Washington Medical Department with a degree in physical therapy in 2000. She is a licensed massage therapist, has her yoga teaching certification, and was an anatomy instructor at The School of Therapeutic Touch for two consecutive years. She has been working as a women’s health specialist for the last 8 years, even relocating to Houston, Texas to work at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, a National Association of Continence designated Center for Excellence.

    The combination of orthopedic and pelvic health training allows Ellie to work with a variety of diagnoses, including neck and back pain, pre- and post-partum pain, incontinence, pelvic pain, sports injuries, general orthopedic issues, post-surgical management, scoliosis, lymphedema, migraines, and gait and balance training. She co-authored a book on pregnancy, Healthy for Two, which was released in 2017. In 2018. Ellie obtained her Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) designation, allowing her to better serve patients who need bandaging, compression, and MLD in her community.

    Ellie loves being active and successfully completed the 2005 Ironman World Championship race in Hawaii. Six months prior, she had not begin training, did not own a bicycle, and did not know how to freestyle swim. She has run 12 marathons, including Boston in 2013.

    John ZdorPT, DPT, CCWC

    John Zdor, PT, DPT, CCWC, is a physical therapist in Battle Ground and Camas.

    John graduated with his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Andrews University in southwest Michigan. While in the DPT program, he was a lab assistant for the Gross Anatomy course and presented his team’s capstone research project in a platform presentation at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Conference in 2017.

    He is a member of the APTA and has a special interest in treating orthopaedic conditions and balance deficits in all populations. He has been trained in both Strain-Counterstrain and Fascial Counterstrain through the Jones Institute and is a certified Clinical Athlete Weightlifting Coach. He combines manual therapy & strengthening with movement based techniques to reduce pain, improve movement, and teach patients to self manage symptoms. He is a strong advocate for evidence based interventions throughout the course of treatment.

    An athlete himself, John trains & competes in Olympic Weightlifting with the Crossfit Fort Vancouver Barbell Club. Outside the clinic, you’d likely find John rock climbing, mountain biking, or training & coaching.

    Rheba completed her Associate of Applied Science degree at Mt. Hood Community College. She enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic injuries.     Simon Waite, LAT, ATC, is a Certified Athletic Trainer and the Head Athletic Trainer at Prairie High School in Vancouver.

    Simon graduated from Washington State University with his Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training, as well as a Masters in Teaching.

    In his free time, he enjoys running, basketball, mountain biking, skiing, tennis, golf, and disc golf.

    Mason Trezise, LAT, ATC, is the Head Athletic Trainer at Battle Ground High School.

    Mason graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Training. While at Capital, he was also an NCAA student-athlete competing in track & field. He begins his career with ProActive Physical Therapy Specialists working primarily in the high school setting.

    In his free time, Mason enjoys trying new foods and staying active by running and weight training.
