Meet the Staff
Katie earned her undergraduate degree at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington, followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in Bismarck, North Dakota. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, with a special interest in the orthopedic and geriatric populations, enjoying general orthopedics, manual therapy, exercise with focus toward functional activities including work or sports, balance, and vestibular based disorders.
Katie grew up in Carson, Washington. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and horseback riding, as well as traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Kristen earned her Associate of Applied Science at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, WY in 2016 and is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. She enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions with focus on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and education.
She moved here from Wyoming in July 2018 and in her free time enjoys exploring the PNW with her husband and two children. She enjoys roller skating, bowling, hiking and hopes to one day start an animal rescue.
Melissa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Oncology Section of the APTA.
She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic issues. Her areas of interest include manual therapy, chronic pain, strength and balance training, and oncology.
Outside the clinic, Melissa enjoys skiing, hiking, and sampling craft beers with her wife and friends.
Ellie has specialized in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy for 18 years, graduating from the University of Washington Medical Department with a degree in physical therapy in 2000. She is a licensed massage therapist, has her yoga teaching certification, and was an anatomy instructor at The School of Therapeutic Touch for two consecutive years. She has been working as a women’s health specialist for the last 8 years, even relocating to Houston, Texas to work at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, a National Association of Continence designated Center for Excellence.
The combination of orthopedic and pelvic health training allows Ellie to work with a variety of diagnoses, including neck and back pain, pre- and post-partum pain, incontinence, pelvic pain, sports injuries, general orthopedic issues, post-surgical management, scoliosis, lymphedema, migraines, and gait and balance training. She co-authored a book on pregnancy, Healthy for Two, which was released in 2017. In 2018. Ellie obtained her Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) designation, allowing her to better serve patients who need bandaging, compression, and MLD in her community.
Ellie loves being active and successfully completed the 2005 Ironman World Championship race in Hawaii. Six months prior, she had not begin training, did not own a bicycle, and did not know how to freestyle swim. She has run 12 marathons, including Boston in 2013.
Rheba completed her Associate of Applied Science degree at Mt. Hood Community College. She enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic injuries. Her areas of interest include manual therapy, soft tissue/joint mobilization, therapeutic exercise, and educating her patients about their dysfunction.
In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her family and friends.
Simon graduated from Washington State University with his Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training, as well as a Masters in Teaching.
In his free time, he enjoys running, basketball, mountain biking, skiing, tennis, golf, and disc golf.
Mason graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Training. While at Capital, he was also an NCAA student-athlete competing in track & field. He begins his career with ProActive Physical Therapy Specialists working primarily in the high school setting.
In his free time, Mason enjoys trying new foods and staying active by running and weight training.
