Vancouver, Washington – East Physical Therapy Reviews
From Gail (former OT).
What stands out most is their attentiveness and hands-on approach. Ryan and Neal consistently monitor my form during exercises, adjust my exercises as I progress, and provide targeted manual therapy that makes a measurable difference. They are patient, encouraging, and skilled at motivating me to do my best for that day.
Ryan did all of my intake on day one. I have a complex medical and injury history. He listened without interrupting. He let me ramble and explain (maybe too much) all of the things that ail me. We then discussed a plan of action for my first few appointments. We made a plan together. If there was an activity I couldn't do, he figured out how to change things up. It was amazing to be included as part of a plan.
Cliff is another PT I work with often. He is equally great. I feel this is an excellent combination of PTs to help me with my therapy. Cliff asks questions from a PT perspective with a twist of digging deeper on a personal level to truly understand my pain levels or activity ability when I am not in the office.
Ryan, Cliff, and I work together to add / modify my exercises as often as I ask them for support or a modification. If a move is too hard, or I can't complete it due to a previous injury or surgery, we adjust and find a way. If my exercise gets too easy, they either notice, or ask for something harder. After all -- how will I ever get better in the long run if I don't push myself to get stronger? I am never let down.
I don't want to close this without mentioning the assistants or the front office staff. Everyone is freaking amazing. The assistants get to know everyone's name. They get everyone started with warm up activities; help out on learning new moves as part of a program; and set up each patient with ice / heat / e-stim / etc. at the end of the session. They learn about our needs and preferences. It's perfect. Amanda runs the front desk (and probably 100 other things I don't know about). She has a happy demeanor and helpful presence every day. She is the first person I see when I walk in, and she helps start my day in the best way possible.
Lynne Pedersen is truly outstanding! She’s knowledgeable, a great listener, and really committed to finding the right approach for each person. She helped me with ergonomic solutions for both sleeping and my home office, and she always made our sessions enjoyable with her friendly personality and fascinating stories.
One of the best things she introduced me to was trigger-point dry needling. I was hesitant at first, but after giving it a try (alongside regular therapy), my pain practically vanished—it felt like magic! On top of that, she provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions for exercises I can keep up with at home and at the gym.

Ryan Nall is fabulous! He’s always super positive, good at what he does, and it shows.
All the staffers there are super friendly, and they genuinely care for your wellness.
Not to sound cheesy, but going there is kinda like that old Cheers song 🎵 “And they’re always glad you came……You wanna be where everybody knows your name”🎶
I always feel better, mentally and physically when I leave from my appointments.
Bravo 🤩
The therapists are each amazing in their own right! Each with more knowledge than a primary care physician, they give you helpful knowledge and exercises to do at home that are guaranteed to help your physical therapy situation, if you do your homework and actually utilize the exercises. Each staff member is exceptional and I would choose no company or location to handle my PT needs.
Thank you ProActive for providing an amazing & flawless Physical Therapy experience, every time.
