    Glen AkersPT, DPT, Clinic Director

    Glen Akers, PT, MPT, is a physical therapist and the Director of the Gresham Clinic. He is also a Partner in ProActive Physical Therapy Specialists.

    Glen completed his undergraduate degree at Oregon State University and his Master of Physical Therapy degree from at Texas Tech University. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Gresham Rotary.

    His areas of specialization include ASTYM, TMJ/TMD dysfunction, work conditioning, physical/functional capacity evaluations, and industrial rehabilitation.  He is currently working on his clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy, specializing in chronic pain of the cervical and lumbar spine.

    Outside the clinic he enjoys cycling, baseball, home brewing, and spending time with his wife and 2 daughters.

    Jenny CurtisPTA

    Jenny Curtis, PTA, is a physical therapist assistant at the Gresham clinic.

    Jenny graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in 2005 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapy. She is Graston Technique certified.

    Jenny’s areas of interest include work conditioning, orthopedics, cupping, balance disorders, and geriatric conditioning.

    Outside the clinic, Jenny enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, going on cruises, scuba diving, and spending time with her husband and dog.

    Emily Kostrba, PTA, CSCS

    Emily KostrbaPTA, CSCS

    Emily received her BS degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Oregon State University in 2006. Emily was a personal trainer for several years until going on to Mt Hood CC where she completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program and was licensed in 2011.

    Emily specializes in corrective exercise, functional training, and is ASTYM certified.

    Outside of work Emily enjoys going to the gym, water sports on the Columbia, and taking the dogs to the coast!
